Researchers in the field of smart manufacturing have recognized benefits blockchain technology, which solves trust problem open network without relying on any trusted third party. Blockchain technology enables interaction between otherwise competing entities to satisfy increasing customer demands a trustful way. However, existing networks are facing limitations, defined by trade-off scalability, decentralization, and security. The scalability is as ability support an load transactions it lower compared non-blockchain systems. In order omit effects solutions being presented. This research reviews literature blockchain-supported concerning solutions. selected has been reviewed classified according type solution. For each solution, main features concepts connection system highlighted discussed. findings study that Layer 1 better represented predominating case general systems, whereas 2 specific Based insights obtained from presented analysis, future directions issues regarding limitations
